Who is responsible

EUROTOI GbR, Am Wasserturm 2, 06869 Coswig (Anhalt), Germany
Email: hello@eurotoi.eu

Write to this address for anything about your data. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the law does not require one of us.

When you open this website

The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias, Switzerland, on servers in Switzerland. The European Commission has recognised that Switzerland protects personal data adequately.

Each time a page is opened, the server records the IP address, the date and time, the page, the page you came from, and the browser and operating system. We need this to deliver the page and to keep the server secure. We can see these records for seven days. Infomaniak states that it keeps its own log files for up to twelve months to protect its systems.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our interest is a website that works and stays secure. Infomaniak processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

Cookies and storage in your browser

This website sets no cookies and needs no consent banner.

One thing is stored in your browser, and only if you choose it: when you switch between the light and the dark view, your browser remembers the choice. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Visitor statistics

We use Pirsch, a service of Emvi Software GmbH, Nickelstraße 1b, 33378 Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany, to see how the website is used.

Pirsch works without cookies. The count runs through our own server, which passes it on to Pirsch. From your IP address and browser Pirsch forms an anonymous number that changes every day. The IP address itself is not stored. You cannot be recognised for longer than a day, and not across other websites.

We see which pages are opened, which website a visit came from, the country, the type of device and browser, and how often links to exhibitors, downloads and the newsletter sign-up are used.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our interest is to understand what visitors look for, so that we can improve the website. Pirsch processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

Newsletter

If you sign up, we pass your email address and the language of the page to rapidmail, a service of Positive Group Deutschland GmbH, Ingeborg-Krummer-Schroth-Straße 18a, 79106 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. rapidmail sends you an email with a link to confirm. Only then are you on the list.

Every newsletter has a link to unsubscribe. Then your address is removed from the list.

rapidmail records whether a newsletter is opened and which links are clicked, so that we see what is of interest.

To keep the form from being misused, our server counts sign-up attempts per IP address for one hour, in a form that cannot be traced back to the address.

Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing. rapidmail processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

Tickets

Visitors register through pretix, a service of pretix GmbH, Berthold-Mogel-Straße 1, 69126 Heidelberg, Germany. The button takes you to pretix.eu. What you enter there, your name, your company and your email address, is used to issue your ticket, to print your badge and to admit you at the entrance.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. pretix processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We delete the registrations three months after the fair.

When you write to us

If you send us an email, we use what you write to answer you. We keep the correspondence as long as the matter requires and delete it afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep it longer, as with business letters.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where it is about a contract or its preparation, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Exhibitors

We use the data from the exhibitor registration for the contract, stand allocation, invoicing and communication. We delete it when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it, as a rule for 6 or 10 years. Service providers working for us receive what they need, for example for stand construction, IT, social media and dispatch.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR.

The exhibitor directory on this website shows company name, address, contact details, logo and description. Photos and films of a stand, and posts on social media, need the exhibitor's consent as well. An exhibitor can withdraw each consent at any time by email to hello@eurotoi.eu.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

Photos and films at the fair

We take photos and films at the fair to document it and to promote it: on this website, on social media, in print and for the press. You are told when you order your ticket, and by notices at the entrance.

If you do not want to be in a picture, tell the photographer or write to hello@eurotoi.eu. We remove pictures in which you can be recognised wherever we still can.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our interest is to show what the fair is like.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, have its use restricted, and receive it in a common format. You can object to processing that rests on our legitimate interest, and you can withdraw a consent at any time. An email to hello@eurotoi.eu is enough.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. The one responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Sachsen-Anhalt.
